Universal Mind and Attracting Abundance — Connection of Mind, Body and Soul

Understanding the mind and body connection is the key to the universal mind and attracting abundance.  The trick is to know how to enhance the connection of mind, body, and soul.

The universal mind, often called a cosmic force or collective consciousness, is an infinite source of wisdom and abundance.  It plays a pivotal role in the manifestation of our desires.  Understanding how the universal mind works can give us profound clarity and enable us to harness its power.

How Does The Universal Mind Work?

It all starts with recognizing the importance of body awareness.  The link between the mind and the soul is the body.  (1)

What is the mind?

First of all, what is the mind?  Our minds do not exist between our ears.  It is much greater.  It can expand and reach other realities.  Our dream state is proof of the capabilities we possess but overlook.

What is the soul?

We call it the soul or spirit.  Our soul or spirit is that aspect of our consciousness observing our experience.  This observer exists as an aspect of the mind.  So, when we talk about the mind, it includes our spiritual essence, the soul.

What is the Universal Mind?

The universal mind is also what some call the universal consciousness.  (2) It is the idea that each person is an expression of the consciousness of the universe.  We are, therefore, as eternal as the universe.  This philosophy opens the doors to many interesting topics, including abundance.  Before we delve into the subjects of the universal mind and attracting abundance, let’s look at the connection of mind, body, and soul.

“The universal soul is the alone creator of the useful and the beautiful; therefore, to make anything useful or beautiful, the individual must be submitted to the universal mind.” ―  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Understanding the Mind and Body Connection

Universal consciousness is the driving force behind the Law of Attraction.  The law of attraction is the principle that states like attracts like.  Understanding the Universal Mind is crucial to unlocking its extraordinary capabilities.

The importance of body awareness cannot be understated.  Our ancestors needed this skill to survive.  They passed them along.  They sleep in our DNA.  The primitive mind holds many tools that we forget about.  We don’t even know they exist if we don’t use them.  Self-awareness, situational awareness, and observational skills can be rekindled and honed.

Observing Self-Talk

Your thoughts have the power to shape reality.  The Universal Mind responds to the vibrations emitted by our thoughts.  Positive thoughts attract positive outcomes, while negative thoughts breed negative situations.  So, you must learn to observe your self-talk and correct the negative thought scripts.

Replace Harmful Beliefs and Values

By harnessing the power of positive thinking, you can transform your life.  There are some excellent tools to help identify and correct harmful thinking.  The Culture Assessment Questionnaire reveals the influence of culture on our minds.  The Repetitive Question Exercise shows us our deepest beliefs and fears.

You’ll have space to reprogram once you identify and remove the harmful programming.  Then, you’ll have more success with positive affirmations and mantras.   Visualization and affirmations are powerful tools when used correctly.  The reason these tools don’t work for a lot of people is that they don’t remove the harmful programming first.  That’s a common problem.

Negative programming will supersede and negate any positive programming attempts.  Our negative programming usually has deep roots in the psyche.  Habitual patterns have been there longer and resist removal.

Visualization Techniques for Enhancing Mind-Body Connection

Visualization techniques are one of the fundamental tools of creation.  If we have a strong intent and visualize meeting a goal, we are more likely to reach it.  When we have clear goals, the intent, and the desire to get there, visualization pulls it all together.

So, here we have the basic formula for success.  A clear (SMART) goal, combined with intent and visualization, brings success.

Everyone knows about SMART goals by now, so don’t leave this part of the formula out.  SMART goals are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-sensitive.  Your goal must be something positive that the universal mind can get behind.

The universe responds when your intentions have positive outcomes for everything.  Your motivations must be strong enough to fuel both conscious and subconscious behaviors.  And your visualizations of the future must be detailed and vivid.

Then, we can use the power of the mind to connect with the soul and the body.  The importance of body awareness should not be overlooked.  We can control the mind and soul through the body.  Breathing techniques and moving the body

Enhancing The Connection of Mind, Body and Soul

“You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.” ― Alan Wilson Watts

Many ancient cultures built monuments to align with the movement of the sun and the moon.  These are physical representations of the culture’s focus on connecting with the universe.  These structures are symbols of their importance to the culture.

Religions create doctrines to provide “easy marketable” answers to questions about existence.  They create tribes and a tribal mindset to promote these mythologies and superstitions.  But religion’s answers aren’t helpful; they create followers and paying customers.

Nurturing the Soul Activities

How does understanding the mind and body connection help us?  Have you ever wondered why a good night’s sleep refreshes you?  Have you noticed that exercise can instantly boost your mood?   The answers lie within the “mind, body, soul connection.  Turns out, this may be a vital key for our overall well-being.

Sleep and Self-Care

Sleep is one of the three default states of consciousness.  This state is essential for repairing and preparing us for activity.  Contrary to modern life, our bodies are made for vigorous activity.  Without sleep or exercise, we have negative symptoms.  We feel what happens when we don’t nurture ourselves properly.

All self-care activities enhance the connection of mind, body, and soul.  Meditation, mindfulness, nature walks, or forest bathing are sefl-care staples.  These are things you can do to relieve stress and put you in touch with the consciousness of the universal mind.

Find Out What Works For You

Instead of asking how does the universal mind work?  We should ask, how does it work for me?  Everyone has different needs, which can.  So, finding the right combination of things that help us integrate depends upon where we are in our lives.

Understanding the mind and body connection teaches us the importance of a balanced lifestyle.  When this connection is strong, it promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.  How do you learn what things you need?  Start listening to your body.  Your body communicates various needs.  But we often overlook them because we are too entrenched in our modern lifestyles.  Nurturing the soul activities can be as simple as a two-minute body scan meditation.  We’ll cover this in a moment.

The Importance of Body Awareness Movement Activities

How often are we so focused on mental tasks that we forget everything else?  We are so busy the only time we recognize what’s going on is when something triggers our pain threshold.  We should have known something was wrong long before it resulted in injury.

We know when we are hungry.  But, most people eat on a schedule based on work, not the needs of the body.  A lot of people eat food because it tastes good.  Unfortunately, fast food isn’t really food.  It’s a food-like substance that tastes good but has little or no nutritional value.  So, this is why you feel hungry a short time after eating fast food.  Your body is telling you it needs something to fulfill its nutritional needs.

Are you tired of feeling out of touch with your own body?  Are you constantly distracted and disconnected from what’s happening inside?  Well, it’s time to change that!  Let’s explore some activities for nurturing the soul, mind, and body.

One of the best tools to improve awareness of the body is visualization.  Most visualization techniques for enhancing mind-body connection are easy to learn.

The words movement and activities make most people think of physical things.  But moving awareness is just as important as moving the body.  The first few exercises we cover are tools of the mind we call mediation.  Meditation provides grounding.  Then, we take grounding into action.  This will bridge the gap between seated meditation and movement with moving mindfulness.  All of these meditation tools stress the importance of body awareness movement activities.

Body Scan Meditation

Let’s start with a popular technique called body scan meditation.  Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.  Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax.  Now, slowly bring your attention to your toes.  Notice any sensations, like tingling or warmth.

Move your awareness to your feet, ankles, and so on until you’ve scanned your entire body.  The goal here is to observe any physical sensations without judgment.  Understanding the mind and body connection is easier when you practice this regularly.

Basic Two-Step Meditation to Observe Breath

Breathing is one of the most essential functions of our bodies, yet we often take it for granted.  This simple practice can help calm your mind and bring about a sense of tranquility.  It helps us remember the importance of body awareness movement activities.

Sit comfortably and focus your attention on your breath.  Feel the air as it fills your lungs, and then exhale.   Count “one” silently in your mind as you breathe in; as you breathe out, count “two.” Keep doing this until you reach a count of ten, and then start over.  Whenever your mind wanders, gently bring it back to the breath and the counting.

Seated and Moving Mindfulness Meditation

This exercise involves a combination of seated and moving meditation.  This practice will increase your body awareness and promote inner peace.

Begin by sitting comfortably, with your spine straight but relaxed.  Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in.  Now, bring your attention to your body as a whole.  Notice any sensations, tension, or areas of discomfort.  Keep your awareness of your body and breath.

As you continue breathing, start to move your body.  Start with simple stretches or gentle neck, shoulders, or wrist rotations.  Feel the movement, the stretch, and the release.  Engage all your senses in this experience.  Then, stand up slowly, maintaining your awareness of your body and breath.  Remember to be kind and attentive to your body’s needs and limitations as you move.

Dance and Groove

Dance is one of the classic body awareness movement activities.  Dancing allows you to express yourself while moving to the rhythm of the music.  Dance inspires creativity.  You’ll soon find yourself tapping into your wisdom of the body.  You’ll find yourself effortlessly flowing from one step to another.  Then, you’ll be comfortable trying new dance and music.

Yoga Adventures

Are you ready to explore the serene art of yoga?  Yoga, known for its gentle stretches and mindful breathing, is an excellent way to cultivate awareness of the body.  It encourages you to focus on sensations, balance, and alignment.  Take your yoga mat to a nearby park or set up a soothing space at home.  With each pose, pay attention to the signals your body sends and gradually build a stronger connection between your mind and body.

Outdoor Explorations

Unleash your inner adventurer and head outdoors!  Nature offers a unique setting for body awareness movement activities.  Whether hiking a trail or playing on a sports field, outdoor activities challenge your body.  We are creatures made to explore.  Try diverse terrains, navigate obstacles, and feel your muscles at work.

With each new environment, your body will adapt and guide you through every movement.  Try the moving mindfulness technique.  Then, we progress to forest bathing or tree grounding exercises that give us an awareness of our bodies in relation to nature.  Nature is the place where body awareness movement activities began.

Martial Arts Mastery

For those seeking a more risky approach, martial arts offers an incredible opportunity to connect mind and body.  Disciplines like Silat require precise body control and intense concentration.  Consistent practice will give you a heightened sense of your body’s capabilities.   It will sharpen your reflexes and improve your focus.  Discover how martial arts enhances the connection of mind, body, and soul.

Once you begin practicing these methods, you’ll notice a difference in your state of mind.  You feel peaceful, rested, and focused.  When you feel calm and centered, you are in a state people call oneness.  You feel one with the universal mind.

Universal Mind and Attracting Abundance

Our mind is a powerful instrument in manifesting our desires, but when we add the universal mind, we more than double the energy.  Abundance is simply a large amount of something.  To enjoy life, we need abundant health; everything else is secondary.

Chasing Wealth is a Mind Trap

Most people focus on the accumulation of material wealth.  There are a lot of books about abundance.  The Secret is a documentary created by Rhonda Bryne to promote a book on abundance.  The only people who profit from this are those selling the book.

The book The Secret follows the same formula as all get-rich-quick plans.  It’s the same with the seminars on buying and selling property to get rich.  The people selling the books and seminars are the ones getting rich.

The books and plans they sell don’t work for most people.  Why?  They are based on greed and selfishness.  The appeal to greed is a fundamental tactic of the con artist.  It’s the same for the TV preachers who promise prosperity if you send them money.  Don’t fall for these tactics.  My favorite of all time is Reverand Ike.  He used the slogan, “You can lose with the stuff I use.”   He taught that for every dollar you sent him, God would multiply it tenfold.

Greed does not align you with the universal mind.  However, the universal mind and attracting abundance are not necessarily incompatible.  Go back to the mindset of oneness.

That place of oneness should increase your awareness.  Begin by being grateful for the opportunity of life.  If you follow a religion, don’t confuse your belief in an imaginary friend with the universal mind.  Don’t mix up the belief in myths and superstitions of religion with the reality of consciousness.  The techniques that enhance the connection of mind, body, and soul do not include religious belief.

Manifestation Techniques with The Universal Mind

The Shamanic Journey

The shamanic journey is an ancient technique that allows us to connect with the divine and access higher realms of consciousness.  We enter a peaceful state of mind by entering a state of deep relaxation and rhythm.  Visualization techniques for enhancing mind-body connection are vital in creating an imaginary landscape.  The Shamanic journey enables us to traverse the subconscious, connecting us to the universal mind.  Universal consciousness is the home of our intuition.  Our intuition is the ability to tap into the vast wisdom of the universe.

Mantras, Sutras, and Affirmations

Words have the power to shape our reality.  Mantras, sutras, and affirmations are powerful tools that can rewire our subconscious minds.  We can direct our conscious and subconscious behavior to attract positive outcomes.  Repeating affirmations like “I am abundant” or “I am worthy of love” creates a positive vibrational resonance.  The idea is likes attract.  So, putting out positive vibrations draws these qualities into our lives.  Remember, believing in your words and infusing them with intention is key.

Vision Boards Manifestation Techniques with the Universal Mind

Creating a vision board is a wonderful way to represent your dreams and desires visually.  It is a powerful reminder of what you want to manifest.  Gather images, words, and symbols that resonate with your goals and paste them onto a board or piece of paper.  Place your vision board somewhere you can see daily, allowing the images to seep into your subconscious mind.  As you focus on these visual representations, you empower the manifestation process.

Journaling for Nurturing the Soul

Journaling is a therapeutic practice that helps you explore your thoughts, ideas, and deepest desires.  Use your journal as a safe space to express yourself and visualize your dreams in detail.  Write about your manifestations as if they have already come true – describing how they feel, smell, and look.  Doing so amplifies your intentions and sends clear signals to the universe, setting the stage for their manifestation.

Conclusion

The universal mind is a boundless energy force, waiting patiently for us to tap into its infinite potential.  By using manifestation techniques with the universal mind, we align with the needs of the greater good.  Tools like the shamanic journey and mantras help us connect with our souls.  Sutras, affirmations, and vision boards give direction to our intention.  Journaling is a way to listen to what the universal mind says.   When aligned with universal consciousness, we can channel this positive power.

You must embrace these techniques with an open heart and an unwavering belief in your ability to create reality.  Get ready to manifest your desires and embark on a journey of transformation.  The universe awaits your command.  Understanding the keys to the universal mind and attracting abundance gives us knowledge.  We can use this knowledge to appreciate what we have and make our lives more enjoyable.
