Faith Like a Spider Web spiritual spider web

Is Your Faith Like a Spider Web? —

Beware of the three main spiritual spider webs, religion, commercialism and the Ego.  They are counterfeits, forgeries, and substitutions, and they all come from the same source.  Do you what it is?  Do you know how to avoid it?

The Spiritual Meaning of Spider Webs

A spider web is an efficient network for capturing prey it uses a sticky substance to trap its  prey.  Faith and belief are the sticky substances of religion that traps many people, and mythology and superstition are the bait.   This web is big.  It is worldwide, so you likely know some caught up in this mythology. So are you one of the 4 billion people to fall into this trap?

You need faith because you don’t have proof.  There is no credible proof to substantiate their stories and superstitions.  Faith and belief are required to ignore all the facts and inconsistencies which contradict what they want you to believe.

A counterfeit appears to be authentic, but it is not. A common tactic of religion is the old bate and switch, which is where one substitutes something inferior for the genuine.  Sound familiar? These are the traps that keep us from reaching our full potential.  These tactics are part of their grand design to fleece the unsuspecting and naïve from their hard-earned cash.

The most popular religions are copies.  Christianity, Islam, and Judaism (1) are copies, not originals. They are the rebranding of the mystery religions of the Mediterranean region circa 1 BCE, mythologies from Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, and Persia.

These regions use faith like a spider web. No need to reinvent the wheel or web.  Chances are you have been exposed to their system of continual indoctrination.  The more exposure you have the more likely you are to become a paying member.

“… the Church has borrowed without hesitation from the common stock of significant actions known to all periods and all nations. In such matters as these, Christianity claims no monopoly or originality.” ― The Catholic Encyclopedia and International Work, Vol. 14 (1907).

These mythologies provide a steady stream of income, and it is much more efficient and less expense than keeping an army in place,.  People willingly submit to the tax required to maintain good standing. It is the formula used to sell intangible products with infinite shelf life and virtually no returns. What do you think?

“There are three spiritual counterfeits on the path, which are religion, commercialism, and the Ego.  They have one thing in common, they all use faith like a spider web. ,” — Guru Tua

Modern commercialism copies the advertising techniques developed by the mystery religions.  They learn to trigger our deepest needs and fears so they can sell us things.

Advertising has learned a lot from religion, they learned to create the need and then provide the solution.  They sell many things based on their intangible benefit just like religion sells the afterlife.  We buy things we don’t need.

Beware ― The Spiritual Spider Web of Religion

The question is do you see the spider web or not?  If you are hypnotized and under the control of the spider you won’t see it.  If you see it, there isn’t much you can do but avoid it.

Is Your Faith Like a Spider Web?

The Abrahamic faiths are the masters of using mythology and superstition to create a cash flow machine.  They contain some of the most chaotic, self-contradictory, and illogical doctrines found in any religion.  However, they use this confusion to their advantage because you need to pay them to help you believe the gibberish.  What a scheme.

“To guard against being caught in these spider webs, we need to be vigilant and resist the hypnotizing effect of their propaganda.  The web of religion is the most dangerous.  Once caught in the web of faith and belief, it is difficult to find release from its clutches.” — Guru Tua

So the spiritual meaning of spider webs is not something favorable.  Even if you are not a follower of the Abrahamic tree, you are likely affected by its colossal reach.

Eastern traditions developed the most powerful meditation techniques.  Almost every ancient culture developed a form of Shamanism using rhythmic sounds to achieve an altered state.  These represent humankind’s first research into consciousness which predate the mythologies and superstitions that make up Western religion.

You can see precisely how the Abrahamic religions use faith.  They hammer it right from the beginning.  You must believe this or that to enter the privilege of the secret membership.  It is the stick or carrot approach with the hereafter.  First, you create the afterlife, an eternal existence, and create two places, one good and one bad.  The concept of heaven and hell is one of the contradictions of a loving God.  Why would a truly loving God create hell?

“Eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God’s, infinite love.” ― Bill Hicks

The other two spiritual counterfeits take their form and substance from religion.  Politics hasn’t been mentioned.  It’s really an offshoot of religion.  Politics is one way religion legitimizes its intrusion into our lives.  Advertising, religion and politics learn how to manipulate our Ego, by triggering our most basic instincts.  They are good at it too.

Is Your Ego Holding You Hostage?

The Ego isn’t our enemy; it’s how we let others misuse it to control us.  Brainwashing techniques are so prevalent that most people don’t notice them.  It starts early in life with religious indoctrination and TV commercials. Then, it migrates to the counterfeit programs that some people call news.

Fox News doesn’t even try to hide the lies it spews as long as it keeps its ratings.  People get addicted to conspiracies and consume brainwashing from Russia, and they don’t care. So, it isn’t the Ego’s fault.

Not everything on TV is harmful, but you must learn to discern entertainment and information from the spiritual spider webs.

“We need to learn to be the masters of our personalities and instincts.  Learn how to take back the control of your awareness.  Otherwise, it will make us vulnerable to the web of spiritual counterfeits. Watch out for the traps of religion, false spiritualists and commercialism.” — Guru Tua

Our Ego is a tool of consciousness that our culture promotes to control us.  This way, they can manipulate us through our Ego, personalities, and instincts.  The idea for doing this comes from the ancient mystery religions, which devised the best-selling intangible product ever — the afterlife.

Are You a Slave to Commercialism?

We don’t think of commercialism as a spiritual issue, but it is.  Materialism makes us believe we can buy things to fulfill the innate need for spiritual fulfillment.  But this doesn’t work.  No amount of items can fill the hole for an authentic spiritual path.

“These temple destroyers, devotees of ravaging commercialism, seem to have a perfect contempt for Nature, and, instead of lifting their eyes to the God of the mountains, lift them to the Almighty Dollar.”  ― John Muir

When profit is first, everything else is secondary, including people and the planet.  So, a few shortsighted people trade short-term gains and profit, risking the future of the planet.  Greed and stupidity.   It seems crazy, but if you open your eyes, you’ll see that’s what’s happening.

People used to brag about making 100,000 thousand dollars.  Now that is the minimum yearly benchmark for the working family.  Being a millionaire isn’t enough; now, there are multi-billionaires.  All the while, the climate is changing the lives of people around the world.  Cities are flooding, and storms are becoming more frequent, violent, and less predictable.  But, the rich got their money. Is it worth it?

So, to summarize, commercialism uses the Ego to get us to buy stuff in the same way religion gets us to buy things.   All three are spiritual junk food and spiritual counterfeits with no actual spiritual substance.

“The web of commercialism and materialism provides only temporary happiness.  It is addictive and will turn you into a corporate slave.  Don’t waste your life this way.” — Guru Tua

The spiritual meaning of spider webs encompasses all three, religion, Ego, and commercialism.  Belief and faith in these three hold much of the world hostage to fear, substituting belief in mythology and superstition for the truth.

Overcoming Spiritual Counterfeits

Start by asking yourself an important question.  Are you taking advantage of the opportunity we call life?  We each have limited time and resources, so we must learn to maximize them.  Is your faith like a spider web that is holding hostage and keeping you from living a fulfilling life?

Death is as much a part of this physical body as our birth. Birth and death are points at opposite ends of a finite timeline. We are always moving away from our original birth and towards the end of our physical death. The timeline in between these two points is the opportunity we call life.  Do we take this opportunity to grow or stay a child?  We start as an instinct-driven, personality consumed, self-centered infant, and  progress through childhood and adolescence to adulthood.  At each stage, we have opportunities to grow spiritually.  Do you recognize and take advantage of them?  By the time we reach adulthood, we should be ready to explore the limits of consciousness.” — Guru Tua

Seek Your Personal Truth

“Seek your personal truth.  You need to be brave and fearless. You’ll need to leave man-made traditions behind. Don’t get caught in the spiritual spider webs of religion, commercialism, or the Ego.   Spiritual truth exists.   You find it by looking within yourself, not by believing in myths and superstition.  .” — Guru Tua

Seeking the facts is essential to your life. Don’t blindly follow religious doctrine. Don’t be afraid to challenge your beliefs or the cultural narrative.

To avoid these webs deception, one must be vigilant to live life to seeing the big picture.  Become a freethinker.  Learn to question the cultural narrative and its beliefs and values.
